Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Threat Invigorating Conditioner

Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Threat Invigorating ConditionerMy natural hair is picky…matter of fact she’s a lot like me. When we like something we really like it and when we don’t, we REALLY don’t. The only difference is she tends to not like a whole lot more things than she does like {side eye}. I think that’s why I could never be a proper natural hair blogger. She’s just not having it. And I’m cool with that. That doesn’t stop me from trying though. Especially when it comes to finding a product that solves a natural hair problem I’m dealing with. In this case, I was on a search to find a detangling conditioner that was more affordable than my normal cleansing and deep conditioners, that the crown actually liked, and that really detangled because listen…I don’t care how simple my natural hair routine is…detangling will always be in the way. After much trial and error, I tried the Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Threat Invigorating Conditioner and I think I’ve found the one.

So I’ll be honest with you, if it was up to me, I would have never thought to try this conditioner. As a natural girl with very coily, kinky, 4ab&c hair…I generally gravitate towards products that are made specifically for natural hair. I guess in my mind I’m like “Do you see this fro? All hair types? Yea okay.” So when one of my friends who has the longest most perfect natural hair ever told me she uses the Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Threat Invigorating Conditioner to detangle, I knew at that moment if it worked to detangle her crown, it had to work for me. And ma’am did it ever!

Honestly, I just came here for the detangling but like I said whatever product I tried had to actually agree with my picky hair as well. What I LOVE about the Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Threat Invigorating Conditioner is that it makes detangling a breeze.  I’m in and out which is amazing not only for my hair but my sanity. It has a ton of slip so I go in with a liberal amount and a wide tooth comb and can get through my hair so easy it’s crazy. Since using this I can say I’ve cut my detangling time in half.

When it comes to the product as a conditioner though…it works okay. You’ll see some of the top ingredients are alcohol which isn’t so cool but my hair doesn’t seem affected by it. It is full of organic oils though so I guess it balances things out. I know it makes my hair feel really clean, like not squeaky clean but more like fresh. My hair seems to like it so it’s cool, I’m just not…overly impressed with it as a conditioner. A detangler though? Yes. Yes. Yaaaassss.

The Giovanni Tea Tree Triple Threat Invigorating Conditioner is available at Target for $6.99. Which is really nice compared to my favorite conditioner which is a smooth $15. Can’t be using that for detangling. Nope.

Have you tried this conditioner? What do you think? Do you use anything specific for detangling? Let me know!

Stay Blessed Beautiful!
