Valentine’s Day Style Inspiration

Hey beauties! Valentine’s Day is quickly approaching and while I don’t go all out for this holiday like I do others, I never turn down a chance to get dressed up. How cute is it that it falls on a Saturday this year so I don’t even have to worry about workplace appropriate attire. Not that I was planning on dressing up as a video vixen but… you know ;). Anyway regardless of your plans it’s Valentine’s Day so let’s get cute! Here are some ideas for a perfect Vday outfit.

Valentines Day Style: Black Lace + Gold Sequins

I wish there wasn’t a need for a special occasion to wear a gold sequin skirt (and if in your world there isn’t more power to you Queen!) but if there ever was a time I think Valentine’s Day is it. If you’re headed somewhere special with someone just as lovely pair this with a lace top and finish the look with black and gold accessories. Of course a signature red lip will set this look off!

Not all of us are headed out to an uber fancy night on the town though. Back when I was young (and single lol) I would go out with a few good friends for drinks and good food. For the day of love swap out your traditional LBD for a relaxed red dress  and a pair of over the knee boots. A heart necklace and sparkly clutch is all you need to end the look… and a good smokey eye!

And finally for those of us who have babies with no sitter and will be spending the love day with ALL the loves, that’s no reason not to get dolled up for the occasion. I’m a fan of a cozy sweater any day and this would be no different. Find a cute graphic knit with a statement of love and pair it with a cute circle skirt and a pair of ballet flats. Fresh makeup and nude lips make this the perfect look for brunch with the hubs and kiddies.

What are your Valentine’s Day plans? Whatever you do I pray it’s filled with LOVE!

Stay blessed beautiful!
